Chapter 16 Summary: “Sydney”

Theo comforts Sydney as she cries over her mother. Sydney worries that the construction crew will find her mother’s remains. Drea helped her bury the body, but between Drea’s disappearance and the check that she found, Sydney is uncertain what to do. Theo helps Sydney sleep, and she feels relief for the first time.
